The Willard, the largest of Engaged! magazine’s three showcase venues on Sunday, displayed over-the-top floral arrangements from Edge Floral Event Designers, food displays from the hotel and local bakeries, and event decor throughout its main hallway, two lower level ballrooms, breezeway, and second floor lobby.
Here’s a look at the scene:

Edge Floral worked with Terri Bergman events to design a selection of black and white tablescapes in the smaller of the two hotel ballrooms.

Clear glasses and candlesticks keep floral centerpieces the focus of the table design.

Another option is to keep the flower arrangements low and tight and use tall vases of floating candles to add height to a table.

Elan Artists’ jazz band performed in the ballroom throughout the afternoon.

The hotel setup an extensive, multi-tiered dessert table with a selection of tarts, mousses, and multi-layered custards.

The Pie Sisters served bite sized smores, pecan, cherry, jungleberry, and chocolate cream pies topped with whipped cream and a chocolate chip.

Edge Floral suspended strings of flower petals and votive candles from trelles throughout the first levels main hallway.

Light blue uplighting, complimenting elements on the dining tables, added instant ambience to the venue’s larger ballroom.

In the center of the room, Edge Floral setup a large tree covered in babies breath and hanging white ribbons in the middle of a square table arrangement.

Low rangements of babies breath and blue Tiffany & Co. boxes on the table complimented the centrally-located tree.

Just off the ballroom, Rizik’s created a bridal boutique with a selection of its wedding gowns for brides to shop.

The second level breezeway housed a ceremony setup created with temporary walls and black and white draping.

Glass wall sconces and small arrangements of white roses decorated the temporary walls.

The hotel setup an Indian buffet station at the top of the stairs serving tandoori chicken, salmon, naan bread with a variety of chutney sauces, spiced beets salad, and other authentic fare.
