Everyone loves cake. Whether it’s cupcakes or a 5-tiered masterpiece, cake is a staple of any wedding, and many events no matter the occasion. But why not take your cake, or dessert, to the next level? Here’s a look at some inspiring confectioners’ designs (and a few other dessert items as well) from A Chic Affair.

A New Customizable Treat for Gifts or Events in Orlando

When it comes to gifts, edible items such as cakes, cookies, and gourmet baskets are always popular. But if you’re looking for something a little different, Sprinkles Custom Cakes in Winter Park just introduced its CakeShooter, a push-up pop with three layers of cake and icing. The shooters are available in four flavors: Yellow Raspberry Swirl, Pina Colada, O.M.G. (a mix of raspberry swirl and chocolate buttercream icing), and the Sprinkles Signature (vanilla Bavarian cream and white icing). The cost is $3 each or $36 for a baker’s dozen. The label on each pop can be customized with a company logo or message for no additional charge, though a week’s notice is required.
