Marketing Idea: Santa is Coming to Town

When marketing and PR firm BrandlinkDC set about promoting the arrival of Santa Claus to Tysons Corner Center, the team took inspiration from the man himself. Rather than simply sending a press release (or worst yet, an email that will get lost in the holiday shuffle), they mailed a package of homemade cookies, milk, a festival glass, and an invite to a preview party with the man in red.

Effective, memorable, and yes, delicious. Great tie-in!

Examples of Effective Conference Branding

When it comes to your brand, nothing is more important than a cohesive message. Bisnow Media held its inaugural DICE event (Data Center Investment Conference and Expo for those of you not in the technology sector) at the JW Marriott last week for more than 500 people. The company utilized the play-on-words event name throughout the conference materials and event decor.

From the signs and attendees name badges to the technology applications and after-hours events and giveaways, check out some examples of an effectively branded conference.
