
Last night we also dropped by Sign of the Whale where FAIR Girls, a nonprofit working to prevent the trafficking of girls worldwide, hosted a fund-raising cocktail reception to celebrate its feature article in Marie Claire‘s September issue. We snapped FAIR Girls’ director of development Sarah Lu and Amanda Stephen, who works on the JewelGirls program.

FAIR Girls team members Andrea Powell, and Amanda Stephen manned the table educating attendees about the organization’s mission and selling jewelry made by teenage girls around the world—some of whom are sex trafficking victims—who want to improve their lives.
